THE FAULT IN OUR STARS: FROM BOOK TO MOVIE

Every time we hear that one of our favourite books is being made into a film, we get super-excited, and we can safely say that the recent film adaptation of The Fault in Our Stars by John Green sure didn’t disappoint. You couldn’t get further away from our last film fave Grace of Monaco if you tried, but we love this for all the right reasons.

We read the entirety of The Fault in Our Stars one snowy Sunday last year, and couldn’t wait to see it on screen. Plenty of other FIOS fans were in the cinema – tissues in tow – for what was sure to be a tearjerker.

We absolutely loved Shailene Woodley’s portrayal of our main gal Hazel, and Ansel Elgort made the character of Gus even more dashing than we’d imagined. Of course we don’t want to spoil anything, but we’d definitely give this a thumbs up for any fans of the book, and if you want to see a young romance with a little bit of a difference.
