MADEMOISELLE ROBOT STYLES OUR LOOK DRESS28/11/2011 - 18:39 |
It's been one of our most popular pieces online and we couldn't wait to show you how Fashion Blogger Mademoiselle Robot has been wearing her Look Dress.
You know the story - we asked Look Magazine readers to create their dream party dress, and from 17,000 entries we fell in love with Melissa Gormley's cute and kitsch design. Mademoiselle Robot has been wearing her dress differently each day, and from her 60s inspired twist for a day out, or the chic and cosy touches for a casual day at home, we think she looks just lovely.
Read Mademoiselle's Blog here and buy your Look Dream Dress here... but be quick! They won't be around for long...

OASIS GOES TO VINTAGE AT SOUTHBANK CENTRE03/08/2011 - 11:30 |
We've just caught up with our Design Team who couldn't wait to share their snaps from Vintage at Southbank Centre – the place to see and be seen last weekend.
Celebrating seven decades of British Cool, it was a whistle stop tour of fashion, food, art, dance, design and film from the 1920s to 1980s. The girls have returned to the office full of inspiration from these gorgeous vintage prints and retro styling – watch this space to see how it inspires their next designs!
Here's a sneak peek at the photos of their day, including the super stylish girls they met along the way...

OASIS GOES TO THE RACES22/06/2011 - 10:57 |
Our Buying Team headed to Ascot last week to see and be seen at Ladies Day. Despite a wet start thanks to the typically unreliable British Weather, the sun soon shone across the field to showcase a selection of dazzling occasionwear ensembles… and some seriously statement headwear.
Our Oasis style scouts tell us that the key trends you were wearing included monochrome, colour blocking and stripes (someone’s been doing their fashion homework!) and particularly careful attention paid to those all important finishing touches, whether towering heels, oversized clutches or statement jewellery.
Here’s our best dressed from the day – starting off with two of our Buyers in our New Vintage range – looking lovely, ladies!

ELLE LOVES OASIS17/02/2011 - 16:53 |
Our lucky PR girls had a brilliant time schmoozing with the stars at the Elle Style Awards on Monday. Great cocktails, tasty canapés and a fab goodie bag – what more could a girl want? They later spotted Elle intern Charlotte Blazenby in a rather eye catching Oasis dress – gorgeous!

STYLE ON THE MEAN STREETS!23/12/2010 - 16:38 |
We sharpened our elbows and headed into Central London at lunchtime to grab a few last minute presents and whilst we were there we couldn’t help but notice how style savvy the last minute shoppers gracing the capital city looked. The pavements were packed and you had to be a real toughie to shop in this busy jam packed environment but our five lovelies all had a smile on their face (maybe it was smugness at looking so fab!).
Below left we are loving those red cashmere mittens. And top marks for ticking this seasons trends with a fabulous duffle coat and shearling lined boots – she certainly knows how to stay warm and look amazing! We love the American style bomber below right teamed with leggings, a huge scarf and a tassled bag. She looks like a more sophisticated Cher Lloyd, or maybe a really cool student from New York. Anyhow, we like!

These three ladies have got all of our winter must haves covered when battling the freezing weather! The first girl is looking classic in a navy overcoat, jeans and a big woolly scarf, think she was slightly battling with the enormity of her earmuffs though! The lovely lady in the middle had a huge cable knit scarf that she revealed was knitted by her Gran! Bonus points for those tan leather gloves too! And finally the camel coats looks very smart but teamed with the purple beanie and red converse looks very off duty kooky celeb. Well done!

THE RIGHT TROUSERS AND FRIENDS: CHRISTMAS PARTY SEPARATES - BY KAREN DACRE16/12/2010 - 18:00 |
If December to you, is all about sequins and sparkle, brace yourself: what I'm about to suggest is likely to go down like a tonne of sharp-edged, anthrax-laced, bricks. Ready? Here it comes.... it's time to tone down your look. By-pass festive hues of red, gold and sparkling silver and instead, opt for neutrals such as navy, camel and, dare I say it, black.
Granted, on the surface, the notion to dress down during Santa Season may sound a lot more Scrooge than it does style-savvy but - thanks to 2010's infatuation with minimalist fashion - a pared-down approach to Christmas dressing is undoubtedly the way forward. At least, it is for die-hard fashion bunnies.
Key to mastering a minimalist look is a selection of beautifully-cut separates. A silk blouse is a great investment and will work hard for your wardrobe. Try teaming a style in cream with a billowing pair of wide-leg trousers or a classic pencil-skirt. Similarly, a statement blazer in lace or velvet will work perfectly alongside a side-skimming skirt. The beauty of this look is that it works for both work and play (great news for socialites) and, when executed appropriately, looks ten times more sophisticated than your average party-frock-centred ensemble. If the thought of all that beige and black has you crying out for a bit of colour, don't despair but opt for a little leopard-print instead. A simple black blazer looks truly fierce alongside a animal-print pencil-skirt while a soft blouse in cream looks equally as eye-catching with the print.
You see, there's so much more to life than sequins.

SPOTTED - PEACHES GELDOF22/09/2010 - 18:06 |
Peaches Geldof is back in the UK and as ever she is very on trend in her Oasis Leather Aviator Jacket. The flying jackets is AW10's must-have piece, and if you are not too keen n the sheerling version, the aviator is the perfect piece. Peaches is effortlessly chic in ballerina pumps and skinny jeans. Gorgeous.
