It's official: we have a girl crush on Karen Gillan! We've been following her 60s-inspired style ever since we saw this redhead steal the screen in Dr Who... and we're just as hooked with her laid back luxe look off screen.

So tonight, it's over to Manhattan, before Carrie Bradshaw et al showcased their inimitable style as Karen takes the lead role as 60s supermodel Jean Shrimpton opposite Aneurin Barnard as infamous 60s photographer, David Bailey. The scene is their 1962 Vogue photoshoot, marking their first encounter and resulting love affair. The swinging 60s shot against the ever glamorous backdrop of NYC and tracing the journey of too such exciting (and gorgeous) leads? We'll take our seat on the sofa now!

A new year and time for a new mixtape at Oasis HQ! First up, let us introduce you to Friends.

The Guardian have described them as 'Brooklyn's freshest, sassiest girl-fronted group' and we're addicted to their 80s inspired pop and laid-back cool. We'll be watching lead singer Samantha Urbani's style closely and strutting our stuff in our latest outfits with this as the soundtrack!

Oh Lana Del Rey - how much do we love thee? Let us count the ways... So much so that we were mesmerised when we first heard her track Video Games and have been playing it on repeat at Oasis HQ ever since.

With her album out at the end of this month and stunning style already gracing the cover of countless magazines, we don't think Lana is going to be a rising star for much longer, but a huge worldwide singing sensation. The war against Winter starts here! It may be cold outside, but feminine florals are a style classic that we're determined to wear all year round. Imagine your very own garden party - but it may have to be inside at this time of year - and try pretty ditsy prints or experiment with full on flower power.

Our current favourite look, below, teams matching flowers on separates but for your first foray into this trend, you can try just a subtle top here or flower print scarf there. It's the perfect way to blow away the cobwebs as we move through January. The race is on for the first person who spots a daffodil in bloom in their garden!

Some of us girls at Oasis HQ received the DVD of her live performance at The Royal Albert Hall for Christmas and have been mesmerised by her live performances ever since. We're definitely eyeing up her 60s style diva touches too - a subtle beehive teamed with false eyelashes isnewly our effortless way to achieve vintage glamour for that special occasion.
