Where better to while away a rainy Friday morning than at the National Portrait Gallery? Luckily for us, that’s exactly what we did…
For as long as we can remember, ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ has been one of our all-time favourite films, so when we heard about ‘Portraits of an Icon’ at the National Portrait Gallery we couldn’t pass up the opportunity. We picked up a croissant à la Tiffany’s opening scene and popped along to try it out.
Who knew that Audrey had started her career by dancing just a stone’s throw away from where the National Portrait Gallery now stands? From her ballet slippers to photos of her more recent work with Unicef, the exhibition showed more than the film stills we know (and love!).
We bumped into our favourite bloggers Ella, Charlotte, Jazmine and Arabella discovering the exhibition too. Perfectly instagrammable, we left feeling more than a little inspired – time to download Sabrina!
Want to see it yourself? Make sure you head along soon, as ‘Portraits of an Icon’ is only open until 18th October.
