Next up in our My Personal Stylist edition of Sunday Girl is Lucinda, stylist at our White City store and all round lovely lady. We caught up with her to get the 411 on life at Oasis.
My favourite thing about being an Oasis Personal Stylist is…meeting and connecting with our customers.
On a typical work day…you’ll find me in the fitting rooms helping our ladies find the perfect outfit. It can be manic, but always in a good way.
My favourite thing about the shoot was…catching up with the other stylists. It’s rare that we’re all in one room at the same time so we had a ball.
My most memorable styling experience was…when 2 lovely customers presented me with a bottle of Champagne to say thank you, it was totally unexpected. We had such a ball in the fitting room, sharing stories and experiences together – in fact I didn’t want them to leave and neither did they.
My style icon is…my mum! I love her attitude to fashion: trends will come and go, but style is timeless.
In Autumn you’ll find me…curled up up on the sofa with a hot cocoa, surfing Pinterest and watching TV. But on the weekends I’ll be most likely listening to 90’s hip hop or South African house music…totally random but so much fun.
My favourite street is…the one I grew up on, Stanwick Road. It was always quiet until kids came out to play! I remember playing an so many games: kiss chase, British bulldog, rounders, football and roller skating. Then our mums would all yell for us to come in for dinner – so much fun.
